Upholstered Crates
Sew have you always fancied trying upholstering and learning a new skill? At this workshop you will do just that and learn basic upholstery but online from the comfort of your own home! Sew Dotty will show you how to make your upholstered step by step online with a demo so you gain an additional skill and the knowledge to make more!These upholstered storage crates are a sew useful! great for a hallway with shoes and boots, a lounge with magazines or toys … & sew on! … Learning your new skills and knowledge and know how you will be able to make more!
Ahead of the workshop date Sew Dotty will send you by courier a vintage wooden storage crate, MDF, foam and instructions … you will also be sent a link to join on teams on the day. We all together, online then make the crate step by step.
You will need to ensure you have 1 metre of cotton duck fabric for your crate, a staple gun, scissors, iron & ironing board.

Beginners Reversible Cushion
Come along to Sew Dotty’s Workshop and make a gorgeously reversible cushion! … a great workshop for a beginner wanting to sew up something simple … and you will go home with the knowledge to make more!
We will cut from a pattern, choose 2 fabrics (one for the front and one for the reverse), Add velcro to the opening and sew up the final cushion using straight stitch, then zig zag stitch to seal with edges to stop fraying.
Sew Dotty supplies all … sewing machine, fabric and a fluffy cushion pad too! … plus of course homemade cake and a cuppa or two (plus there are cold drinks too!).
