Beginners Quilt Block per month: SEPT 2026 - Maple Leaf
Sew would you like to up-skill in quilting? Have you tried patchwork and would like to take the next step? … This workshop is for you! We will learn a new quilt block per month - January - December using a 16 square block with differing designs! This month it will we will be a Maple Leaf! Sew Dotty will show you how, step-by-step to achieve this block!
In December we will arrange another workshop to join all 12 blocks together to make a 2026 Quilt containing all your blocks made throughout the year! (details coming soon!)

Intermediate Quilt Block per month: September - Ice Lolly
Sew you have learnt basic quilt blocks and need a new challenge then this workshop is for you! We will learn a new intermediate quilt block per month - January - December with differing designs oblong more complex quilting blocks! This month it will we will create step by step an Ice Lolly! Sew Dotty will show you how, step-by-step to achieve this block!
We will quilt as we go and join as we go so that in December we will arrange another workshop to add the backing and binding … all 12 blocks together to make a 2026 Quilt containing all your blocks made throughout the year!

Beginners Quilt Block - assemble your blocks into a quilt workshop
Sew you have come month by month and made a quilt block and now its time to transform this into a quilt! At this all day workshop you will add Jelly Roll to your 12 quilt blocks and then cut back your blocks so they are all the same size. Next we will join the blocks together in 4 rows of 3 blocks each using jelly roll. We will add wadding to the back and this quilt designs through your blocks. Lastly we will add a backing piece onto your quilt and quilt this through all layers finishing it off with a fabric binding edge with a pop of colour to bring your colour scheme together. This will be alot of sewing but you will see your quilt come to life!
