Friday
4.30pm onwards - The Retreat Setup: Check in, find your cosy room, and transform your sewing or crochet station into a personal creative sanctuary. Stake your claim …may your bobbins be ever-full and your yarn not in a tangle!
6pm - The Happy Huddle: A warm welcome meeting to bond with your new "stitch-squad" of fellow makers.
7pm - The Friday Feast: Kick things off with a classic, comforting feast of Tetbury Fish & Chips.
8pm - Stash Inspiration:Dive into your favorite fabrics and yarns; it is finally time to let your "me-time" projects take off!
9.30pm - Me-Time Magic: Choose your own adventure! … stay in the creative flow late into the night or sink into total relaxation with a good book or a quiet chat until bedtime.
Saturday
9am - Sunbeams & Stitches: Rise and shine for a relaxing morning of bobbins before breakfast or some quiet reflection. Breakfast is served at 9 am to fuel your imagination.
10am -It’s all about me: Lose track of time during dedicated project hours—this is where your projects starts to come to life! OR …
10am - Sew Dotty’s Weekend Bag Sewing Workshop Part 1 - let’s get this project started! A retreat exclusive workshop for the sewist! We are making a weekend bag!
1pm -Pinkies Up for a Posh Treat: Pause the machines and hooks for a sophisticated Afternoon Tea.
2-5pm -Sew Dotty’s Sewing Masterclass Part 2 - 2-5pm:Three hours of focused workshop time to level up your skills! … OR
2-5pm More Me Time!… keep on with the project or take a stroll around the farm? … Westonbirt Arboretum is just up the road, Highgrove House & Tetbury too!
7pm -The Grand Outing: We are heading to The Cat & Custard Pot, a quintessential "Cotswold Snuggle Pub".
9.30pm -Moonlight Makers: Return to your retreat "bubble" to unwind or tackle "just one more row" before drifting off to sleep. The choice is yours!
Sunday
9am - Morning Stitches: Wake in the peaceful Barn slap bang in the middle of the Cotswold’s & beautiful countryside! Breakfast at 9 am gets you ready for the creative day ahead … or why not take a leisurely stroll around the countryside and duck pond nearby.
10am - Breakthrough Hour: Use this peaceful project time to finally sew & crochet to your hearts content! … OR
10am -Clare’s Crochet Creation Workshop! … Exclusive Retreat Workshop … Pattern made my Clare! … Time to get hooked on an aran triangular shaw.
1pm - Lazy Lunch: Time to gather round in the heart of the home for a light lunch.
2pm - The Last Stitch! (2-5pm):Channel that post-lunch comfort into another workshop … no stress here just quality time to learn new things & complete a project in the beautifully cosy barn.
5-5.45pm - Weekend Round-up & final flourish:Dive into homemade cake, have a cuppa … and share our weekend wonders fresh from the work-bench.
6pm - Fond Farewells! All good things come to an end” … The retreat closes. Pack up your projects & makes, gather your things, and head home with a full heart, a quiet mind, and a very full bag of handmade loveliness!

Sew Dotty’s Retreat Sewing Workshop:
Weekend & Overnight Bag
Sew Dotty has an exclusively designed never seen at Sew Dotty before, sewing pattern … to make a Weekend Bag! I am sew excited to sew this with you at the retreat workshop on the Saturday.
My first weekend bag workshop which combines sew many sewing skills such as piping, zips & bag making in one place to make this retro designed weekend bag. Maybe you could even use it on our next retreat! There will be pockets galore and it will be a handy size for a carry all bag on a weekend!
Make this a beautiful statement piece with a choice of fabrics for the sides and gusset of the bag - then with extra touches with piping and a pop of colour you can make this your own!
This is an intermediate make and will take longer than the workshop - but we can use the time at the retreat to finish off this make!
I will supply zips, lining & bias binding … but you will need to bring your own fabric to make this bag. We will be interfacing the bag so it holds its shape empty or full and soft furnishing fabrics or quilting fabrics will work well. Sew if you are the follower of a favourite fabric designer such as Liberty, Tilda, Makower you can really go to town knowing this will be a one off … handmade by you!

Clare’s Crochet Creations Retreat Workshop:
Aran Triangular Shaw
Clare will be creating an exclusive pattern for the crocheters of the retreat, should they wish to join the workshop on Sunday afternoon.
Wrap yourself in a comfy and warm Aran triangular shawl you have handcrafted yourself to remind you of your time at the retreat. This exclusive shawl will be perfect for those autumnal days ahead.
We will be using stitches and techniques that create warmth and texture. Ahead of the retreat I will make contact with you to suggest exactly how much yarn you may need to complete the shawl.
I really cant wait to share my creation with you all at our cosy retreat!
