Crochet Workshops
Absolute Beginners Crochet
Come along and get started on your crochet journey! We will start from the very beginning in this 2.5hr workshop, learning some basic crochet techniques and terminology and maybe even crochet a granny square or two!
Please note that these beginner sessions are suitable for children aged 14 onwards (to be accompanied by an adult).
If you have a children aged 8-13 years who would like to learn crochet it is suggested that a 2-2-1 session would be the best environment to learn. (2-2-1 as child would need to be accompanied by an adult) click on this link to book a 2-2-1 crochet session.
All materials are provided, you will receive a crochet hook & instruction sheet so you can practice at home! … A fun & creative workshop and all refreshments, drinks & homemade cake supplied too!

Cake Tissue Box Covers
Fancy a calorie free piece of cake?! These tissue box covers are almost good enough to eat! Over 2 workshops where all materials are provided, we will crochet our cake covers to make our tissue boxes a bit more fun!
Oh and there will be real cake involved too! All materials supplied and the pattern to make more! This workshop involves cake! … what’s not to like!

If you are like me you’ll probably have multiple hooks laying about the place … or always forgetting your scissors when crafting when out and about! Well why not crochet your own crochet hook & accessories holder! … everything in one place for an easy life!
Over 2 sessions we will crochet a fab organiser together as well as enjoy some tea and cake!
All materials are provided and you will go home with a pattern to make more!

African Flower Turtles
How sweet are these little sea creatures! Fancy making your own little friend?
At this workshop you will learn the technique of the African Flower, so a great workshop for those who have mastered the basics. You could use your turtle as a pin cushion or a keyring perhaps.

One-to-One Crochet Classes with Clare
Clare is now offering private crochet classes on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis. Do you want to learn crochet but group sessions are not your thing? Or perhaps you want to do a session as something special & fun with a friend or loved one? Clare has this covered! Why not come along to the cosy Sew Dotty Workshop and get one on one crochet time. From an absolute beginner or for those who want to upskill what they already know - everyone is welcome.
Once you have booked Clare will be in touch to arrange a mutually convenient date and time to hold the class. Clare is able to do anytime - mornings, afternoons, weekdays & weekends.
1:1 Crochet with Clare £30 per hour
2:1 Crochet with Clare £20 per person - per hour
