Crochet Workshops
Absolute Beginners Crochet
Come along and get started on your crochet journey! We will start from the very beginning in this 2.5hr workshop, learning some basic crochet techniques and terminology and maybe even crochet a granny square or two!
Please note that these beginner sessions are suitable for children aged 14 onwards (to be accompanied by an adult).
If you have a children aged 8-13 years who would like to learn crochet it is suggested that a 2-2-1 session would be the best environment to learn. (2-2-1 as child would need to be accompanied by an adult) click on this link to book a 2-2-1 crochet session.

Fancy a try at crocheting a wearable for yourself or for a gift simple crochet tee! This simple summer tee is a great starter for crocheting a garment. Over 2 sessions we will get you umderway to completing a fab summer wardrobe staple! We’ll guide you with what yarn to bring along upon booking and we will provide the pattern, know how, tuition and tea and cake!

Camp Chair Caddies!
Who loves being sat out on a summers evening with a cold drink! Or sat near the sea listening to the waves with a cool drink! How about crocheting a handy little caddy for your camping chair to hold it in!
All materials in this 3 hours workshop are provided which is great for those who know the basics but want to make something a little bit different!
We will provide the pattern, know how, tuition and tea and cake!

Come and bring your work in progress projects and enjoy an evening crocheting with others hooked on crochet whilst enjoying natter time & homemade cake too!
At these workshops Clare will help you with any of your crochet queries, from assistance reading a pattern to perfecting a certain technique. Even if you just need a bit of reassurance or confidence boost with crochet … these sessions are for you!

One-to-One Crochet Classes with Clare
Clare is now offering private crochet classes on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis. Do you want to learn crochet but group sessions are not your thing? Or perhaps you want to do a session as something special & fun with a friend or loved one? Clare has this covered! Why not come along to the cosy Sew Dotty Workshop and get one on one crochet time. From an absolute beginner or for those who want to upskill what they already know - everyone is welcome.
Once you have booked Clare will be in touch to arrange a mutually convenient date and time to hold the class. Clare is able to do anytime - mornings, afternoons, weekdays & weekends.
