Crochet Workshops
Absolute Beginners Crochet
Come along and get started on your crochet journey! We will start from the very beginning in this 2.5hr workshop, learning some basic crochet techniques and terminology and maybe even crochet a granny square or two!
Please note that these beginner sessions are suitable for children aged 14 onwards (to be accompanied by an adult).
If you have a children aged 8-13 years who would like to learn crochet it is suggested that a 2-2-1 session would be the best environment to learn. (2-2-1 as child would need to be accompanied by an adult) click on this link to book a 2-2-1 crochet session.
All materials are provided, you will receive a crochet hook & instruction sheet so you can practice at home! … A fun & creative workshop and all refreshments, drinks & homemade cake supplied too!

Cosy Cup Covers
Do you have a “stanley” style reusable cup that perhaps is well loved? At this workshop you can jazz one up a bit! In this 3 hour workshop we will be crocheting a lovely cover & strap! All materials are provided as well as refreshments.

Upskill in Crochet: Corner to Corner Crochet
Great workshop for those who have mastered the basics and want to add to their skills! Learn the corner-to-corner crochet technique and quickly build up a blanket in this style! Clare will show you how to do this step by step and you will go home with an instruction sheet on how to do and the know how learnt in the workshop to do more! Who doesn’t love an Easter Egg Hunt? … and what sweeter way to collect those eggs in your very own Granny Square Easter Basket! During this session, which is great for those who have just started on their crochet journey, we will perfect the classic granny square and join together for an adorable handy basket! Easter Wreath
Easter is around the corner and wreaths aren’t just for Christmas! Fancy crocheting your own springtime & Easter wreath? Over 3 sessions we will be crocheting a full wreath and there wil be lots of patterns to choose from … what will you go for? Some daffodils & daisies or perhaps Easter eggs and chicks?! Mosaic Crochet Stitch
We have got the workshop for you! … if you are looking to challenge your crochet skills & learn a gorgeous new technique then the mosaic crochet workshop is for you! Come and bring your work in progress projects and enjoy an evening crocheting with others hooked on crochet whilst enjoying natter time & homemade cake too!
At these workshops Clare will help you with any of your crochet queries, from assistance reading a pattern to perfecting a certain technique. Even if you just need a bit of reassurance or confidence boost with crochet … these sessions are for you!

One-to-One Crochet Classes with Clare
Clare is now offering private crochet classes on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis. Do you want to learn crochet but group sessions are not your thing? Or perhaps you want to do a session as something special & fun with a friend or loved one? Clare has this covered! Why not come along to the cosy Sew Dotty Workshop and get one on one crochet time. From an absolute beginner or for those who want to upskill what they already know - everyone is welcome.
Once you have booked Clare will be in touch to arrange a mutually convenient date and time to hold the class. Clare is able to do anytime - mornings, afternoons, weekdays & weekends.
