Absolute Beginners Crochet
Come along and get started on your crochet journey! We will start from the very beginning in this 2.5hr workshop, learning some basic crochet techniques and terminology and maybe even crochet a granny square or two! All materials are provided as well as refreshments.

One-to-One Crochet Classes with Clare
Clare is now offering private crochet classes on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis. Do you want to learn crochet but group sessions are not your thing? Or perhaps you want to do a session as something special & fun with a friend or loved one? Clare has this covered! Why not come along to the cosy Sew Dotty Workshop and get one on one crochet time. From an absolute beginner or for those who want to upskill what they already know - everyone is welcome.
Once you have booked Clare will be in touch to arrange a mutually convenient date and time to hold the class. Clare is able to do anytime - mornings, afternoons, weekdays & weekends.
1:1 Crochet with Clare £30 per hour

Funky Crochet Keyrings!
Come and have a go and making some cool crochet keyrings!
Mini flowers, fish and much more. These will make great little gifts, perhaps for your child’s teacher at the end of term or a loved colleague or friend, or even just a cute companion for your bag or keys.
Make as many as you like in this 3 hour session where all materials are provided along with plenty of tea/coffee and cake!

Clares Amigurumi Afternoon
Fancy having a go at amigurumi or perhaps want to crochet something different?
Why not spend the afternoon at the workshop and make yourself a new little friend. We’ve got Bree the Bee, some Dino or piggy friends to choose from and more! All materials supplied to bring your new chum to life! Plus refreshments included.

Summer Shawl
Over 2 sessions we will be crocheting a gorgeous versatile shawl. This workshop is great for those who want to make their first garment and want to improve their pattern reading skills.
Pattern and refreshments are included, just bring your own yarn (we can advise on this).

Crochet Pots
Even with crochet we can do some upcycling!
Do you have stacks of CDs you don’t listen to anymore? Or perhaps some dvds that are now too scratched and won’t play?! Well why not turn them into some cool crochet stationary pots.
All materials will be provided in this 3hr workshop (unless you want to bring your own discs of course!) and we’ll also provide yummy tea and cake.

Crochet Along with Clare- 2025 CAL Blanket
Crochet-a-long with Clare! … build up this fantastic 2025 Blanket … month by month in 2025! … over 12 sessions! Seasonal design with a square to celebrate each month! … champagne for New Year January, Heart for Feb, Daffodil in March, Easter Egg in April, May Pole in May, Summer Flower Vase for June, Seaside in July, Sunflower in August, Autumn Leaf in September, Pumpkin in October, Fireworks in November and Santa in December!
Each Month come along and crochet with Clare and make a square per month. At the end of the year we will have an additional workshop to join the CAL squares together to complete your 2025 Blanket which has been designed by Clare!
